Christine Williams

Christine Williams joined the board in 2024. She worked at the New York State Department of Civil Service for 33 years, almost all in the Employee Benefits Division. She retired in 2008 as the assistant director for policy, having been involved in negotiating, implementing and the ongoing management of employee benefits Candidates for the RPEA Board of Directors administered by the EBD for state and local government employees. She was also responsible for ensuring plan compliance with all federal and state legislative mandates and served as the EBD’s liaison to RPEA and other retiree and employee organizations. She has been a member of RPEA since her retirement, is currently a member of the Capital District Chapter Steering Committee and previously served on the RPEA Membership Committee.
