Charlene Lojewski

Charlene Lojewski joined the board in 2024. She has been a member of RPEA since she retired in 2010 from the NYS Department of Correctional and Community Supervision. She began as a GED teacher and retired as an education supervisor at Oneida Correctional Facility in Rome. Among her responsibilities was managing the downsizing of jails and the closing of the Oneida facility. Charlene has served as chair of the Mohawk Valley Chapter Membership Committee, on the Steering Committee, and is currently chapter co-chair. She created the letters the chapter sends to prospective members, new members, and lapsed members. She is an active recruiter of new members, which results in one to three new members each month.
