Alan Dorn

Alan previously was the Executive Director and Deputy Director of RPEA. In 2014 he received the Marion Martin Award for his outstanding contributions to RPEA. Alan retired from the NYS Department of Civil Service where he was Director of the HRAcademy. Alan also served as Director of Human Resources at NYS Office of Real Property and as an Instructor at Hudson Valley Community College. He is a past chairperson of the NYS Personnel Council and the NYS Training Council.  Alan received the Trainer of the Year award from both the HM-American Society of Training and Development and NYS Training Council. Additionally, he was also Manager of the Year from the Capital District IPMA. Alan also serves the Albany area on non-profit boards including two senior housing programs.
