Court Blocks Medicare Advantage Switch The Retired Public Employees Association (RPEA),…
The Retired Public Employees Association (RPEA) stands with NYC Retirees for healthcare choice.
Nearly 50% of Medicare enrollees are in a Medicare Advantage Plan. The overwhelming majority of those enrollees made a voluntary decision regarding that choice. RPEA opposes all efforts that force retirees to move from traditional Medicare to a Medicare Advantage Plan. If forced into a Medicare Advantage Plan, retirees could face coverage denials, out-of-pocket costs and lose their current providers, if they are not in Aetna’s Medicare Advantage network. Retired Public City Workers deserve to keep their doctors and current healthcare coverage.
RPEA’s support for the NYC retirees was there from the beginning, and remains unwavering.
